Are you a military veteran who deeply cares about peace? Veterans For Peace may very well be for you.

Founded in 1985, Veterans For Peace works to

  • Increase the public awareness of the total costs of war

  • Restrain our government from intervening in the internal affairs of other nations

  • End the arms race

  • Reduce, and eventually eliminate, nuclear weapons

  • Seek justice for veterans and victims of war

  • Abolish war as an instrument of national policy

We urge you to visit the national Veterans For Peace web page for more general information about the organization at www.veteransforpeace.org, including on-line  membership sign-up.

In Michigan, we are hoping to greatly increase Veterans For Peace membership, and hopefully create new Chapters in various areas of the state.

At the present time, however, there are three Veterans For Peace Chapters in Michigan, which are…

  • Chapter 74 - Southeast Michigan - Wayne, Oakland, Monroe, Macomb counties

  • Chapter 93 - Washtenaw/Hillsdale/Jackson/Lenawee/Livingston counties
